Alexandros Avgeris, Youth Director

Alexandros comes from Long Island, New York. He is part of the community at Saint Demetrios Church in Merrick, New York. He received his undergraduate degree in Religious Studies from Hellenic College Holy Cross in 2016 and completed his Masters of Divinity in May of 2018. Alexandros was appointed as the Youth Director of the Direct Archdiocesan District in February of 2021 and is honored to be able to serve the Church in this capacity. One of his responsibilities, and honors, is to oversee and be a part of the Camping Ministry of the Direct Archdiocesan District Youth Office, Camp Saint Paul. Having been a counselor in the past and a part of the admin team for many years, he looks forward to serving our Youth again this summer, and is honored to be a part of such a spiritually fruitful and inspiring ministry.
